We are looking primarily to modernize our collection and to furnish us with improved hybridizing material. As our collection becomes more up to date, we then will be able to share those newer varieties in our trade transactions.
Please do not offer to barter services and/or goods for iris. This is for TB iris trading only.
With that in mind, we are looking for Tall Bearded irises with the following attributes:
- Full, ruffled and wide flower form with stiff substance. No varieties will be accepted that do not demonstrate these qualities to some degree - we will research all tradeware submissions.
- Interesting color patterns, contrasting beards, deeper colors, lacing, improved branching
- Reasonably winter hardy
- Healthy growth habits
- TB introductions from 2005 – 2010 only ( may be somewhat flexible regarding this )
Preferred Hybridizers of Irises for trade:
T.Johnson, P. Black, Ghio (ALL), Schreiners, Cooleys (most), Keppel (ALL), Aitken (some), Painter, Sutton (some), Innerst, Spoon (some), Kerr (most), Blyth (definitely ALL).
If you are an iris breeder and you want to trade with us, send us a picture of your introduction/s and we will give you our consideration. We are rather picky but we will always be respectful.
